Klark Teknik DN200 V2 2-Channel Active DI Box

The Klark Teknik DN200 V2 2-Channel Active DI Box accurately reproduces the character of electric and acoustic instruments and allows you to send them directly to your desk or mixer. The original DN100 has been a staple of the live industry for many years now, this updated version builds on its impeccable reputation. Specifically intended for professional applications where +48 V phantom power is a standard feature on all mixing consoles, this provides a significantly higher clipping threshold than many other active DI Boxes, providing +10 dBu output into a 2 kOhm load. You can even phantom power each channel independently for true reliability.

It’s important your live equipment is able to handle the rigours of extensive use. Built with a thick aluminium extrusion, this protects the electronics, and in turn, is covered by a tough silicone rubber sleeve for ultimate security. This means despite the inevitable knocks and scrapes, your DI signal will remain flawless and reliable performance is ensured at all times.

Description

High quality design

Immaculately high headroom with a rich dynamic response and sonic clarity means every nuance of your signal is retained for crystal clear sound quality. Its increased headroom means that much higher level input signals can be accommodated without the need for an attenuating pad. The custom instrumentation-grade balanced input circuit was designed using advanced analog design techniques to create the very high input impedance required by passive guitar and bass pickups, whilst keeping the actual component values low to minimise noise. This innovative approach to circuit design produces a very low noise floor, which combined with the high clipping point creates an unrivalled dynamic range, regardless of whether you sum or split the signals.
